Weekend Snapshot#8

our house 047

These are small items,(with huge meaning) I got from some of my thoughtful students. They didn`t expect me to quit, nor did I,we didn`t have any formal goodbye parties,I had to quit casually…

However, listening to their little speeches, how they were grateful to meet someone like me,how they were touched and got inspired by me,and learned more than they`ve expected brought me to burst into tears…Tears of exhilaration…tears of sadness…mixed feelings I`m sure…but,I am really proud to have them…yes, have…they will remain in my heart,I already place them all in one corner that no one or nothing can separate them out from it.

Some parents knocked on my door to present me chocolates, cookies, and cakes…what would be sweeter than their words of respect and appreciative gesture?

Most of them grown up bigger than me.They were just toddlers when they have started. They were my daughters,my sons and my friends. My classroom was the great witness on how we had shared our times together…And now they`re gone…but actually never left

I wish to see them again one day…and see their progress.

And I never expected to receive a small bouquet that came from their own allowances. :)

Happy WS!!Have a great week ahead everyone!

P.S.
I only have 2 weeks more to pack up all our things.I am still busy but I`ll do my best to visit you!Hugs to you!

  41. TorAa Said,

When I READ this post, well, it confirmed my thinking:
    You are a great teacher.
You may recall, Anna is also a teacher.
On Thursday, one of her former “pupils” went directly in to her classroom, and said right out in tha class room: You have the best Teacher ever.
(Her parents can hardly speak Norwegian - she is now a reputated dentist)

It’s all depending of the Teacher -you are amonge the few that really cares.

ps. we have easter hollydays here. Schools are closed until Tuesday March 25.

  42. RennyBA Said,

I knew you are a great teacher - as well as a hot Mom (actually a great combination!) so you deserve all the contribution you can get.

Be happy and proud - and you have all the reasons to feel good - mission completed!

Wishing you a great end to your week too - Like Tor told you, the schools have started their Easter brake in Norway already :-)

  43. tina Said,

wow! you sure made a difference sa mga kids… :P you are their inspiration i am sure..

  44. tin-tin Said,
