These pics were taken during the outing of our Kids Neighborhood Association last summer.One of the reasons why I was so busy and scrammed my face out of the blogosphere for 3 months.The kids challenged themselves by making some old kind of Japanese pastries,went to a riverside for a BBQ,(they caught fishes in the pond first to spice up the dishes),then we went to this apple plantation.Lots of pics to share but I can do that later. 
Each and one of us was told to pick 3 apples(there were less than 50 members who joined the trip),one for the apple juice and the rest were for jam making.I enjoyed jam making a lot!Not only because of the delicious jam we made,but through the effort of the kids in my group.They`d done our jam(the mixing part) without the help of the elders.Summer is over!Alas!!There are some more activities left in our agenda for the whole year,but at least,our weekends have no more meetings and practices,no more phone calls at night,(it irritated me a lot esp when I`m cooking or having dinner with my family,LOL!) no more demands of this and that!Huh??How`s that??!!Haha!I`m just so happy about it!

We use to make chutney baesd on apples. This years apple-season was very bad at our summmer home, compared to last years. Anna brought “tons” of apples to her students at school.
