The Golden Pavillion
One thing I admire here in Japan is the school policy.Well, some are peculiar and so strict compare to other schools, but definitely they have their points on why they are maintaining them. The annual excursion and school trip inspire the students a lot.I`ll share you my eldest`s school trip this year.
But before I go on,allow me to tell you that they had their school trip last year at Hokkaido, the coldest part of Japan.Summertime lasts for 2 weeks only, the villages and the cities are covered with snow,70% of the year.Whew!I can`t live in there! The school trip was a five day plan and it amazed me that everyone are capable to join. One thing that certainly shows that there is a “fair” treatment,or I rather say,”even” standard way of living.
They went to Kyoto,Japan last week. Best known for Japan`s preserved culture,it`s primitive style of houses and streets are breathtaking. Here, you can find the real Geisha or Maiko San.
I`ve never been to Hokkaido or Kyoto!!But my daughter did and it`s enough for me.
How I love to see the Golden Pavillion!Haru did a good job of taking this picture.
Check out the old lifestyle of Japan…
The last but not the least,I wonder why do they always do that “peace” sign? (^_^)//
Hmm,Haru is the smallest among them all..I don`t mind it,but she does…
For more pictures,please visit Genuinity..,Maturity..xoxoxo Thank you…

Wow Ghee, Haru has an eye for composition. That Pavillion picture rocks!
Someday, I would like to go to Japan, other than the stop-over at the airport that is. My daughter said we should make it a girls only trip (how convinient since there are only two of us in this mostly male household.
She made me promise to ask you if you are familiar with Pokemon. She’s into Pokemon cards lately.
Great photos, especially that Pavilion…and the places are so clean.
Yes, why do Japanese youngsters like to give the peace sign?

Hey Ghee,
I hope all is well. I celebrated my one year of blogging not too long ago (354 postings). You can still reach my blog from here.
mami ghee, please visit kyoto when u have the time. its enchanting. buti pa baby mo nakakalakwatsa. hehehe =)
hi there.. it’s my 1st time here.. haha I;ve been to japan last year coz of ballet.. hehe I wanna go back there and experience the night life in tokyo.. haha kyoto the place of Sayuri-San.. hehehe
I do think it’s a great thing to bring classes out on excursions like this. The student not only learn from what they experience of site and culture, but also from the fact they stay together for several days. Common memories are important.
I will allways remember the 3-4 days long excursions when I was in the primary school. And even in High School.
You have firnushed this post with excellent pictures.
Thanks for sharing.
PS. I will tag you about love.
nice pics ghee….wish i could visit sometime
